Modern Warfare 2 - Xbox 360

Hey anyone play this game on xbox live?

Got the new map pack today, awesome maps and they include 2 maps brought over from Call of duty 4: modern warfare (1)

The amount of people I know who are amazingly addicted to this game is unreal. I've played it once and it was pretty "meh", but maybe that's cause i'm more of a racing game kind of guy.

yep i to am addicted, add me, its "gr3chie" :)

It didn't wow me all that much, so I went back to MW1. Maps on MW2 are boring as all hell, and most are extremely similar.

yeah mw1 maps were better but these new ones are awesome! they have the flair that the mw1's had.. the map pack also gives you overgrown and crash from mw1..

anyone plays add me "AuS HYBRiD"

mw2 is over rated. if you want a realistic shooter try rainbow 6 vegas 2.
best shooter ever.

I can't agree with that, RSV2 is almost identical to RSV so save yourself some money and buy the original, though the first one is also rubbish. MW1 has to be absolute best online FPS there is and I can damn near guarantee that. MW2 makes no functionally progressive steps to supersede the first MW. New maps, guns and game types online go so far, what you really need is better game-play, e.g. accurate air strikes, better hit registration and match making.

If you don't have either of the MW's you should buy the 2nd due the fact that it has the best characteristics of the first MW with the new functions of the 2nd.

I waited in line to get MW2, and I have to say I was very disappointed, the game seems to reward camping and noob toobs (IMO) and I now only play MW1. Also, the fact that I can't get a good connection on MW2 is an absolute pain. No such problems when I play MW1 though.

i have all the cods. its just i dont like how you cant get behind a wall and plan your attack. you always seem to be in the open. i found world at war was the best cod. prob because i like ww2.

Giant Cranium 04-04-2010 08:33 AM

oh and rsv2 has better visuals and maps and only costs about $30 now. great bang for you bucks

Ok I have MW1 so is 2 not worth it? I actually liked the campaign stuff.

Looks like vegas2 is now on the list aswell.

2 is definitely worth it, it's a great game. Maybe rent it first and see how you like it. Personally I prefer the first MW.

the campaign in MW1 is much better than MW2, MW2 is more like a movie (unrealistic). i finished the campaign on MW2 in about half the time it took for 1.

i only played MW2 online once and hated the maps so i just went back to the campaign
