Just thought I would offer another suggestion. Have you had a ponder about getting the running gear out of a previous model turbo Laser like a TX3? PM Vippin he seems to know a fair bit about this sort of stuff.
Hmm a turbo on a SR2. I have always thought they were a nice bit of kit to start with. Lazi boys are pretty much unbreakable in the first place which is always good.
