The whole band just felt like they were going through the motions. I'm not a Mastodon fan, but they had a lot more stage presense than Slayer did. The project backdrop was a nice touch but otherwise I left not feeling wholely satisfied.

The Slayer gig before tonight - which was awesome by the way - was a bit of a minor let down. They did seem to just want to play thru and boot off. It was still good coz it was
Slayer after all....
