Well, originally I wanted to go turbo since these motor have a very definate limit of output power before they pop and I can't afford to rebuild the motor or have the car off the road at the moment.
A turbo should give more RWKW for a given stress on the motor since it is not taking power directly from the crank to drive. Now for 15KW or whatever the blue power blower takes at 6PSI I just don't care about turbos anymore.
From what I have heard with a turbo full boost from around 2000RPM should have a very good torque curve too. Having an auto I would never be out of the 'zone'.
