I had to have the aircon re-gassed on my XR5, which improved the performance.

Mine is late 07 build so maybe the later turbo models had the gas issue fixed before dispatch.

I would agree with Warren's comments re value for money, fuel economy, and it looks good on the road. Performance does not match XR6 turbo but it is quick enough to give most a run for their money. I currently get 9.8km/100lts mainly highway driving to Blue Mountains and back to Sydney.

The only downside for me is the slightly restricted view for the kids in the back seat, and the slight reflection of the airvents in the lower part of the windscreen, otherwise well impressed so far. (apart from the one time it failed to start!)

Certainly worth a test drive.
