st: 1979 Ford Escort 4door. Ice blue & stock. 1.6L I think. 4speed manual. Dad bought it for $300, stuck pink carpet to the dash (I don't know why) & even had it registered! He gave it to me after 6 months of my sister stuffing around, not collecting it from his place & the dog sleeping in it.

nd: 1986 XF Falcon S wagon. 5speed manual. Powder blue. Nissan Patrol leaf spring. Stupid, but I could sleep in it.

rd: 1984 Suzuki 800Hatch. 5speed manual. Silver with dumb green detail carried out by the old bugger I bought it from - great mechanic, terrible painter, but he had the seats trimmed properly in dark grey.

th: 1987 Daihatsu Charade 5 door hatch. Gold. Brown interior. I miss the way the rear seat folded

th: 1992 KH Laser sportback/fastback/whatever you like to call it. Ice Blue. 1.6L. 5speed Manual. Basic as can be - not even EFI, but it was the best, most reliable car in existence. Everything was cheap to fix or replace & it had a pretty damn good boot.

th: 1991 Nissan Pintara (front wheel drive) sedan. Red. 2L I4. Auto. I put the seats from the Laser in it. Went through 2 gearboxes AND two brake master cylenders within 4 months. If it had a better engine & gearbox it would have been great. Couldn't give the hing away in the end.

th: 1991 TR Mitsubishi Magna Sedan. 4 cylender. Auto. White with blue interior. Nicknamed 'Parkinson' due to a serious case of the shakes. Possibly the worst car ever. Anything that could go wrong did. It proved to me that it IS possible to stall an auto.

th, current & probably last: 2007 WQ Ford Fiesta LX 5door. 1.6L I4. Manual. Ice White. Generic but not entirely unattractive seat covers in the front, CocaCola towel on the back seat & my son's booster are the closest thing to "mods". We only got her because the Magna & the Pintara had cost us so much, we figured it couldn't be worse. Named her KIMMI.

potential 9th (if we can ever afford it): Mitsubishi 380 or Mazda BT-50 dualcab. But we'll always have KIMMI. ;)
