If its Company Policy...
then ask to see it in WRITING on a COMPANY LETTERHEAD
I'm Arvo shift... and I asked this of a Dayshift Manager when he told me I had to do something becuase it was "Company Policy"....
He couldn't do it .... So I told him that I couldn't do what he wanted until he could provide me with the required document as I had never been made aware of this Policy in my Initial training when I started at the company and had never heard of it whilst in employment or through any subsequent training sessions...
He was not a happy man :thebirds:
