Every other Focus review I've read/seen has stated that the new Focus isn't anywhere near as fun to drive as the outgoing model.

I was kind of surprised by that statement too since the outgoing Focus handles exceptionally well compared to its rivals and is to me one of its key selling points.
My hope was that his statement meant that the new Focus handles even better than the LS/LT/LV models and in a sense making it seem pedestrian by comparison to the new, rather than in an absolute sense.
Perhaps his daily is an Evo lancer. Or he's just an idiot :p
