I am a massive iPhone fan, and yet I have never owned one!! ha ha. I like how well designed they are os wise, my dad can use my brothers phone for basic duties and yet he can't even turn a PC on. The only dilemma Apple now have is that where I live, they have become a bit of a bogan accessory. Sooner or later it will become undesirable to own one due to the stereotyping you will receive. I may be wrong of course.
