Door to door sales would suck. You're trying to flog a product to people who didn't invite you to give them your sales pitch and probably don't want/need your product. Very few you actually talk to would be a chance of a sign up. That's if the deal being offered is any good.
Most people see a sales person at the door who has just interrupted their time at home and immediately are thinking of shutting the door. Some would be polite and others would be ......blunt
