If you want to upgrade components cos they're out dated or broken such as a CPU or your graphics card, you can't. It's either a new computer or find second hand parts from the same model. You're never too old for games

It's not just games that mac has compatibility issues with, flash player often has it's way with Mac, shockwave too. With most components, you have to get mac specific drivers and software for which are (unless it's like logitech or something like that) take a little while to be produced with all the bugs ironed out. AV also bugs out a little on macs as well. And don't give me the one liner that macs don't get viruses
