Essex V6. However FordSA at some point released a 3.4 version of it (south africa only)....so mine uses the 3.0 block but with the 3.4 crank/rods and pistons. The 3.4 made huge amounts more torque (longer stroke slightly larger bore....however the pistons are slipper types...very thin....nothing like the huge essex pistons)
Was inferior design in the heads though IMO ...therefore still using the 3.0 heads
The 6pack webers were also a local 'special edition" back in 1982....was a homologation special for ford local racing at the time. Called the XR6 interceptor and only 250 built.
