Re: I want to quit smoking but i fail everytime

January last year my Son (aged 13 then) randomly started the following conversation with me:
Tom: "Dad, can I see your cigarettes please?"
Me: "Ok......, why?"
Tom: "You'll see"
He then walked into the kitchen, put them in the bin and said "you don't need them".
I had started to lose my desire to smoke before that night, and apart from some mild cravings during the first weeks, I have remained a non smoker.
When their Mother was around I found quitting difficult, I stopped then would cop an earful because I wouldn't sit outside and keep her company while she puffed away.
Anyway that problem (the wife) went away in 2014 however I was still smoking with coffee & after dinner until Jan 2015.
So in summing up, anyone who has recently quit - well done and remember: Nobody needed cigarettes before they smoked their first, and the truth is, nobody ever "needs" them. Your kids, your body and your wallet will forever be grateful!
