Tell tale signs of a good conversion would be revised suspension points, seam welding and bracing. Its not just a matter of whacking a big engine in a small car. The Perana/ Savage/ Broadspeed cars were quite bespoke.
There was a Perena for sale a while back in Aus, listed around 20k and gone now. I thought that was pretty well priced given its rarity and performance.
