Only sold 1 car online. Had someone ring up ask a few questions saying they were going to come over for a look but never showed up. He seamed decent on the phone so don't know what the go with that was.
Next person who contacted me showed up and bought the car. Easy as.
Selling furniture and other stuff like that on gumtree is a mixed bag. A lot are drop kicks, but there are some decent people out there.
I have sold at least 10 things on gumtree, everyone who ended up turning up and buying the item where good to deal with. No idiots or low ballers have ever shown up. Usually can weed them out when they text talking ****.
