I have it from a Ford US Trans expert that the 80 is 800 lb ft input torque, not 800 nm.

Yes, there's a 10R140 coming for Super Duty that begins production next Month but the
10R80 is capable of handling a S/C 5.0 Coyote but it's not up to the 6.7 V8 diesel's 1,000 lb ft.
The auto's strength wasn't the problem for R-Spec, the calibration was going to be harder and
most buyers wanted the MT anyway.
