If we are giving thought to creating an Oceania travel bubble then there are only 770 active cases in the region, 762 of which are in Australia and NZ with the remaining 8 in French Polynesia (4) and Fiji (4). In fact, of the 14 countries that make up the region, only two other countries have had cases - New Caledonia (18) and PNG (8), both of which now have none.
The rest, Micronesia, Kiribati, Marshall Islands, Nauru, Palau, Samoa, Solomon Islands, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu have all reported no cases.
