So the tricked up VW actually has only about a 3t towing capacity when you have a driver,adult passenger,a couple of bigger kids and all the necessary bits and pieces,like fuel clothing food etc,The 2281 wouldn’t include the towbar and (the thing that most caravan towers reckon they need,
a bull bar and driving lights,even though they never travel at night),maybe an extra spare wheel.
