Picked up the new van, the old express on the highway for 5 hrs wasn’t pleasant, but it made it after snapping another AC compressor bolt. Suspension bushes clunked the whole way despite having been replaced over the last few months. Ear plugs were needed.
I did a straight load area swap over with my shelving and work bench set up, it’s 300mm shorter, the overall length is longer, but there’s more space dedicated to bonnet and cabin area.
First impressions? It drives nice and the 4G69 is really quiet, the clutch pedal is too high, it’s taking me a bit to get used to low speed driving. Quality? It’s no Toyota, the body will age much quicker, but it was nice to drive thru the leafy suburbs today ��
