I had my 6230 upgraded while I waited. They have a 24hr turnaround and will give you aloan phone. If you still want to get rid of it, sell it on ebay and buy something better.

I thought about that, but would they repair it for free, or just blame me and say "tough luck", also I'm not sure if I've still got the receipt for it... I was expecting it to last as long as my old Phillips one I had for years did.
I couldn't get much for it on ebay with a broken screen, could I?
