There is a book disproving it actually, well, not 100% disproving, but it provides an excellent counter argument.
Its bullshit because it was used as an excuse by fanatics to blame rock 'n' roll at the time on the rebliousness of kids, and when they wouldn't listen to their parents etc. As if four young blokes would get together, have a few beers, and decide to try to subliminally convert the world to Satanism (a potentially career ruining move...).
I must again ask the question, what kind of person is sick enough to sit there playing music backwards to discover these things....
