You nailed it. Don't want the boy racer image . I prefer unassuming cars that you can have a bit of fun without the "look at me" feel. One that I don't get OCD when I park, or when I let the dog jump in after a swim at the beach.

I had thought about a Mondeo Diesel too. But none show up on my search result unless I remove the "manual" criteria...

So what I'm hearing is, there are no "major" issues that would say "don't touch". Ask if timing has been done if its over 200,000kms. Budget for decarb. And if your injectors play up....then you are stuffed!
