Seal VCT SolenoidHousingAssembly with Anaerobic Flange Sealant:
-PERMATEX Anaerobic Gasket Maker or
-LOCTITE 518 Flange Sealant
Covs said they had Permatex but don't.
They have Loctite518 FlangeSealant.
It costs $37 for a 50ml tube of Loctite518.
Permatex & Loctite owned by same people i think.
Still using the SILICONE gasket maker (Loctitie587) around the 3xBOLTS and inside the 3xBOLT-HOLES of the Solenoid Housing Assembly.
Some on the bolts themselves also.
The job is the same process but we are covering the METAL ALLOY surfaces of the solenoid housing assembly with Flange Sealant instead of silicone sealant. DON'T DRIVE for 12 HOURS+ until Flange Sealant cures.
