It's certainly a bit different, with it's offset shape. I've had to modify the tailpiece to suit the slightly slanted bottom end.

The beauty of building a kit means you can put your own pickups in... in this case I've ordered some Fender style pickups from a mob called Guitar Fetish, which are styled off the original Starcaster pickups.
