My car is a BF mkii and having a look at the stock snorkel, there is no opening on the lower front side. After looking at SS Induction's install vid, they utilise the factory snorkel and connect it to the new box.. which just had me wondering why blue power didn't need it and if I could attach it, would it be beneficial.

It wont work, the BPR CAI is good for over 500rwkw in its "as designed" configuration.

By altering the CAI you run a real risk of reducing its effectiveness.
