When I was getting lessons prior to getting my license we were going up the Calder Freeway, I was in the left lane and another person was coming onto the freeway so I moved across to the right lane to let them on and my instructor went nuts over it, saying they have to give way to me and I shouldn't have moved over.
They got on then I moved back over.
We get to the next onramp, a semi is getting on the freeway, I deliberately don't move over........
Driving instructor goes, we need to move over into the next lane to let him on, hold up you said that I shouldn't move over? NOW ISN'T THE TIME FOR ARGUING!
