So unless you dont have a 9' angle grinder, or want to risk copping ****ing strain using a hacksaw. The big hydraulic ones or electric ones are the go. For smaller stuff like say the pad locks or fencing stuff, regular bolt cutters are faster and easy to use.

Wonder if it would last better than the crappy Ryobi air shears I have. Advertised on the box (and website) to cut through any type of steel to 1.5mm thick. Couldn't cut .8mm sheet S.S and broke the blades.
