Default Re: New Tow Tug ,What to Buy?

We have just bought a ssangyong musso,it has 3500t towing and a 1t payload for the tub with the leaf springs, its 890kg rated for the 5 link coil suspension.

They are great value for what you get from the south korean car manufacturer and good owners reviews.

We paid $42,000 for the musso ultimate xlv,its a big ute 100mm shorter than the dodge ram.

The high strength steel that they use in there chassis is what gives it the 3.5t towing capabilities.

on the highway it sits on anywhere between 7.4l/100 to 9l/100 and around 10-11 in town.

we towed a 2.7t caravan back from ballina to sydney and it went very well the fuel economy was between 15-16l/100.

with the cruise control on,the biggest hill slowed the ute down 15km under set speed limit.
