Default Re: MC Brake Bleeding

I avoid using the subframe for jacking.

From the owner's manual:

Jacking and lifting points

CAUTION

Use only the specified jacking points.
If you use other positions, you may
damage the body, steering,
suspension, engine, braking system or
the fuel lines.

This may seem a precaution for beginners
but the sub frame and cross brace are not
like they used to be. They don't look
strong enough to me.
It' also mentioned in the service manual.

I use one trolley jack each side at the designated jacking points on the sill.

Problem is getting a safety stand in.
I use safety stands built into the trolley jack.
It's much quicker.
