Agreed, my Wife also works in aged care, she's the cook so no real direct contact but the kitchen tends to be the central hub so everything that happens passes through there, after 14yrs nothing surprises me anymore. I dont like hearing about it, its depressing but i listen because she gets it off her chest.
When she first considered the position i said to her, if youre going to cook in that environment youve got to consider that any meal could be a residents last so youve got to give it 100%.
