I was hoping something like the Chev rally rims might be a direct fit, seems not. The goal is to find a sympathetic style of (probably steel) wheel in 15” or 16” to allow more choice of tyres - owner wants something sticky.

These guys in Adelaide sell barrels and centres - not sure what they charge to make them up. And probably getting a little on the dearer side, however if its for the Monaro - might be worth a call?

They have chaser wheels already made up in 120.65 and 114.3 pcd

Hi. Early holden (FC through to HG) is 5 X 4.25, HQ on is 5 X 4.75 (same as chev) and crumpledoors are a metric size close to the HQ size but not the same ( at 5 X 120mm). Some volvos used the same stud pattern as the early holden and there have been some 15 and 16 inch wheels done for toranas. https://www.bits4blokes.com.au/produ...ic-steel-wheel . Cheers MD

No not the same as HQ. HK HG and Torana were the same.
HQ-WB were larger.

Used to sell Volvo rims to put on trailers with the HK to HG stud pattern

The HK to HG are 5 x 107.95 Volvo is 5 x 108 so close enough at .05 of a mm difference, pretty sure some Citroen are 5 x 108?

That’s probably Citroën XM/Peugeot 605 pattern.

Yes, I was wrong in my original citing of size - too much nonsense swirling in my head. I definitely meant the pre-HQ stud pattern.

Side comment on the trailer wheels, that is also what’s fitted there (HK-HG), looking at brake upgrades to comply with over 2T ATM rules and they’re either Falcon or Landcruiser (6 bolt) patterns.

Nah, he said 4.75" is the same as HQ, which it is.
He then said 5x108, which is 4.25" that the OP is searching for, is hard to find.

The OP made a mistake by referring to HK-G as 4.75", he should have said 4.25" which is correct for FB to HG

I showed the owner, images of the CTM alloys - he disliked them.

He’s going to have fun finding someone to make a 15” steely in whatever spec, using a conversion type hoop on a 14” centre.

You can get the HK, T, G rim in a 15" Sunraysia style rim https://www.ebay.com.au/itm/17658241...Bk9SR6SNvLD1ZA
Most trailer supply places can supply, I just put some new 14" Sunraysia rims on my dolly trailer, they had new standard HT steelies there but for a extra $10 the Sunraysia rims were the go

These just popped up on Facebook - 15” oe style HK steel wheels?

They also list 15” HG style and 15” chrome - not badly priced either - $156ea

Some 6” and 7” wide options as well.

Looks like they will accept oe hubcaps as well

Disclaimer - I know nothing about the company

That’s possibly closer, the fellow is somewhat bent on using Morton & May to fabricate from old centres but these would definitely be cheaper for similar results.
