i thought we were gone for all money when Prince broke his arm. Looked as though game 1 was going to happen all over again. But a bit of go forward from Petero, bit of Steve Price magic and a lot of Falou and Inglis seen us over. Actually, i suppose Thurston and Slater had pretty good matches too...

Was a pretty good match I have to admit, kept my interest (which is very strange for a game I barely understand).
Was it just my imagination or did NSW seem a bit punch happy this game?

lol, there was heaps of biffo. That Crocker is always up for it, most punch on's involve him to an extent. Nate Myles will cop a few for that tackle as well, pretty ugly.

Is it just me, or did NSW seem to dominate so much of the game, and just not manage to get the ball over the line? Either way, QLD FTW! |

NSW seemed to be on top in the 1st half and start of the 2nd, but they couldnt convert. QLD defense was pretty good though

while everyone bangs on about folau and inglis, don't forget the brilliance of thurstons and slater. they had awesome games.
was a tight call at the end with a couple of minutes to go when the ref called a forward pass that was line ball but thems the breaks. so in 160 mins of origin nsw only crossed the line once. how good is that!!! being in adelaide i don't watch a hell of a lot of nrl (not aired) and the afl doesn't do it for me unless its a couple of heavyweights going at it but the rules are ruining the game. more and more a girls game. this origin stuff is a different level again. i lived in qld for 13years so i'll always barack for maroons but both sides create an awesome spectacle. i love the fact that its not a high tackle or illegal tackle until you nearly kill the guy. plus the speed on some of these guys is hard to comprehend, given their size and weight. well done qld!! |
