Default What would you pay?

I just bought a top line 2004 Sharp CD-system for $90 from a second hand shop nearby.

I got it for $80 cash because the cd deck didn't work. Got home and cleaned the laser.

Beautiful, 30 levels of bass for a measly $80, my mate bought his new for about $499.

Man was he disgraced when i told him. Second hand goods can be a bargain, if you think ya can fix it.

P.S. Hope it ain't stolen.

I did the same thing with mobile phones in school. People would stuff their phone and If i knew i could fix it, I'd say I'll give ya $50 for ya phone. Normal problems would be water damage, cracked screens, speaker/mic not working or phone haws a software bug, all of which I had a 95% success rate fixing.

After repairing it and cleaning it up a bit I sold it a week later for around $200.
