LOL. My 2IC at work is Benji Marshall's aunt.
If they win, she's not coming into work the next day.

Actually she and I are both so sick of hearing about it, and seeing him in the paper, we don't want them to win.

I'm just happy the Tigers are in the Grand Final. It's been a long time coming, hopefully with a better result. After all the years of jokes and crap we fans have had to put up with, I just hope they make us proud!!! C'mon Tigers!!!!!

I sometimes believe in coincidence's. The year that the Bulldogs won the NRL GrandFinal (Mid 90's) was the same year Carlton won the AFL Granfinal. Carlton and the Buldogs at the time had the same main sponsor.

Go back to week 1 of the finals where the Tigers beat the Cowboys was the same as West Coast beat Sydney. Sydney turned that around yesterday. I know who my money is on.

The Cowboys played well winning 29-0 and the Tigers won't have it so easy this time around.

Other than that I hope the Tigers win emphatically.

It's the code predominantly played north of your border where handbags and high heels are banned from the playing field and you don't sit out half a season for fairy tapping the opposition.

I see. So the Australians who populate the north-east corner of Australia would rather play this game than support the truly Australian code. I know that the Melbourne-Sydney rivalry is strong, but not to the point where it would cause people to put personal prejudices ahead of national identity.

It's not about supporting a sport because it's a true Australian code, it's about supporting a sport that I enjoy watching. I grew up near Wests home ground and my grandfather used to drink down the pub with most of the Wests players most nights a week... it's what I grew up with.

Does it really matter where the sport originated or in what countries it's played in? Personally, I think it's better to support a sport that other nations play. International sport polarises the country, AFL will never be able to do that until it exports its product and other countries become proficient in it, the closest it will come is when a Melb based team plays an out of towner in the Grand Final.

Man, I was still in shock last night when the Cowboys got up over Parramatta.

I definately know who I'm going for on Sunday night.

I did not expect the cowboys to get up over parramatta.
But i was also expecting brisbane to step up and shut down the tigers (oh, boy was i wrong).

Cowboys are playing their best ever, but Id say the Tigers have the confidence to crush the cowgirls in the grandfinal. I havent seen anyone throw it around so well like the Tigers are at the moment.

It's gonna be a corker. You eastern staters can consider yourselves lucky - as we dont get the game live here in SA. Channel 9 wont show it live (usually put the sound of music on or something equally gay) and Foxtel not allowed to show it live.

Webb will surely be regretting that punch in the storm game ;)

I tried to get tickets this morning but no such luck. I'll be watching the mighty Tigers from my lounge room with some mates.

It's sold out as expected probably with 78,000 Tigers fans and 2,000 Cowboys fans!
