Default Top Aussie Bands ?

So many to choose from,I don't have many new bands as I don't like much today....this is bands only not solo artists!
My vote is Icehouse.

So many good choices, AC/DC, Cold Chisel, Crowded House, Hunters and Collectors, INXS, Met at Work and Midnight Oil are all great... What about LRB though? Anyhow, in a pinch - Cold Chisel.

And ... DirtyHarry, who is your avatar?? : :P

Bloody hard to choose just one! Ac/Dc, Chisel, Hunters and Collectors... I could go on for hours.

AC/DC for the win.

Are you actually referring to Daddy Cool? [shakes head and smiles]

As for the thread question, I don't have a favourite, but voted for Rose Tattoo......now if Hush had been on the list, or Ted Mulry Gang, or The Easybeats, or.....................

All the listed bands are great, but I like AC/DC best. What about Machine Gun Fellatio?
They are the best Aussie band I've seen in recent years.

YOU SHOOK ME ALL NIGHT LONG
AC/DC
(Young, Young, Johnson)

She was a fast machine
She kept her motor clean
She was the best damn woman I had ever seen
She had the sightless eyes
Telling me no lies
Knockin' me out with those American thighs
Taking more than her share
Had me fighting for air
She told me to come but I was already there

'Cause the walls start shaking
The earth was quaking
My mind was aching
And we were making it and you -

CHORUS:
Shook me all night long
Yeah you shook me all night long

Working double time
On the seduction line
She was one of a kind, she's just mine all mine
She wanted no applause
Just another course
Made a meal out of me and came back for more
Had to cool me down
To take another round
Now I'm back in the ring to take another swing

'Cause the walls were shaking
The earth was quaking
My mind was aching
And we were making it and you -

CHORUS

And knocked me out and then you
Shook me all night long
You had me shakin' and you
Shook me all night long
Yeah you shook me
Well you took me

You reall took me and you
Shook me all night long
Ooooh you
Shook me all night long
Yeah, yeah, you
Shook me all night long

Your really took me and you
Yeah you shook me, yeah you shook me
All night long

Pity it isn't multiple choice !! so many good bands there , but one I not a fan of is "The Oils" (sorry) . Being an Old Phart , I've got to go for a lot of the 80's bands , just got to love 'em .

I think Crowded House & Noiseworks were both NZers ?
