Exclamation A bit of help

Anyone know any about Nissan Navara's, my son is stuck in the bush and has done a front input shaft on his 2006 D22, he wants to know if he can drive it home (about 200 k's)with the tailshaft out and hubs turned out, will the wheel bearings be OK

Front wheel bearings should be fine, does the input shaft sleeve into the transfer case or does it bolt to a flange like the diff?

Wheel bearing will be fine.
This may be a dumb question, but WHY does he need to remove the shaft? If it’s damaged, just leave the car in 2WD with the hubs unlocked.

If something has broken and the shaft has fallen down, concern would be to make sure the transfer case doesn’t leak.

(Similarly with the front diff, but I assume it’s a universal joint anyway.)
