Hi everybody,
A know of a Capri RS 3100 that might be going for sale at some point in the future but have only seen photos. I would like to know what it's value would be in it's current state, as I dont want to get ripped off or buy something overpriced when it goes on sale. The only info on the car is that has some minor rust around the bonnet (repairable) and the paint is a little flat but other than that the car is very straight. The interior is in good condition but has a lot of dust, the engine is intact but hasn't run for years, and it doesn't have it's original front bumpers or factory wheels. That's all the info I have. What do you Capri and Ford lovers think that it would be worth and is it worth looking at? |

its hard to give a estimate without any pics, but personally i would be willing to pay anywhere from 5k to around 20k for a rs capri that is in need of a full resto..
obviously the colour, missing parts, rust and whether it is one of the original 50 sold in Australia would be major factor's in which the price would be adjusted accordingly. (by resto i mean full drive line overhaul, new interior, new paint etc..) if it was something that is fully restored to concourse i would estimate 50k to 75k? |
