Default Victorian Bushfire Charity Cruise - Sunday March 1

While this isn't an official club event, I thought it was worthwhile posting this information for those who would like to attend.


Date: Sunday, March 1, 2009
Time: 9:00am - 3:00pm
Location: National Museum of Australia to Queanbeyan show grounds
Description: Cruise from National Museum to Queanbeyan Show Ground to raise money for the 2009 Victorian Bushfire appeal.
Proudly supported by the Red Cross, there will be a sausage sizzle and drinks at the cost of $2 each, all proceeds will go to the bushfire appeal, you will also be able to donate as much or as little as you would like.

We'll also be accompanied by sections of the emergency service.

So everyone come an cruise for charity on the 1st of March.. invite all your family and friends as it is for a good cause.

There has been a change to the starting point of the cruise this Sunday.

New start location is ‘Treasury car park west’ Langton St Parkes (across Commonwealth avenue from the Albert Hall)

Times are still the same: 9:00 am for a 10.00 am departure to Queanbeyan

Went along, wide variety of cars from stock EA Falcon to flash GT's ranging over 40 years to early Landrovers, USA cars, Renualts, Holdens :, just plenty to see. Approx 100 cars i think. Hope it raised some good $ for Vic Bushfire fund. :
