Thumbs up *Dyno Day 2011 Edition - 15th October @ GenTech*

Hey guys. We've been pretty quiet on the forums lately, but we have been busy in the workshop and are looking forward to our dyno day this year.

It's time to put the call out again, to let everyone know about this years awesome Canberra and region GenTech Dyno Day.

Our dyno day this year is back to its rightful spot, the Saturday after the Bathurst weekend. So after enjoying the best weekend of the year on the tele, keep the petrol running through your veins and join us for a power charged day.

As usual it will be a big day with food, drinks, big screens, and some very nice hardware up on the rollers. Entry fee will be $50 for three runs and a printout. Just show your interest in this thread, and let all your friends know. The previous three dyno days have been huge, and the old Holden vs Ford battle has been great. Make sure you come along with your cars and support your brand!!

Good to get a firm date on this great event.. Thanks for that Marcus / Kit..

Ok everybody lets see how many we can get to this Dyno Day Event.

I know that this makes a very busy weekend for the FPV and XR Club as they have a big event on the Sunday that has been locked in for some time now but Marcus, Kit and the boys from Gentech put on a great event every year so lets smash some HSV's..

Okay guys time to up the ante. As per last year, we want this to be a huge day so in true GenTech style, we have another surprise announcement.

We can now offer cash and/or voucher prizes plus trophies for all classes!! Hopefully this is some further incentive for people to come join us and participate on the day. We know how much effort you all go to with your pride and joy's so we wanted to give something back. Prizes are as follows:

8 Cylinder Top Horsepower - $500 Cash and 1 Adult Summernats Season Pass

6 Cylinder Top Horsepower - $500 Cash and 1 Adult Summernats Season Pass

8 Cylinder Forced Induction (Late model Ford/Holden) - $100 Rare Spares Voucher and 1 Adult Summernats Season Pass

6 Cylinder Forced Induction (Late model Ford/Holden) - $100 Rare Spares Voucher and 1 Adult Summernats Season Pass

5.7 and Ford 3v NA Unopened - $100 Rare Spares Voucher and 1 Adult Summernats Season Pass

5.7 and Ford 3v NA Opened - $100 Rare Spares Voucher and 1 Adult Summernats Season Pass

6.0+ and Ford 4v NA Unopened - $100 Rare Spares Voucher and 1 Adult Summernats Season Pass

6.0+ and Ford 4v NA Opened - $100 Rare Spares Voucher and 1 Adult Summernats Season Pass

[B]5 Cyl F/I and 6 Cyl NA
- $100 Rare Spares Voucher and 1 Adult Summernats Season Pass

Best Other - $100 Rare Spares Voucher and 1 Adult Summernats Season Pass

Also if there are any N/A cars that break 700 horsepower, or F/I cars that break 1200 horsepower, those owners will get a special invitation and receive free entrant registration to Summernats, and will compete with the invitation only field in the new Horsepower Heroes competition this year.

Please spread the word. We want to try and match our record dyno day last year with 60+ cars hitting the rollers!!!

Thanks
