When my car was NA I had an aluminium bend fitted up with a Pod, and a plastic partition so most of the engine bay temps were kept away from the intake. Seemed to work pretty well.

CRUISIN EB: yeh thats why i'd need to have those rubber bits with ring clamps on both ends like you see on aftermarket turbo piping. they flex and move with the engine.
TUFED6: that looks like a great setup mate!! ive always wanted to do that but i just dont think i could knock up a partition that would do the trick. |

I'll ask Ben if he still has it, I haven't seen it at my joint lately! I know that he still has the templates for the partition if you guys wanted to do a group buy of 10 of them or something.

Cool if he still has it that would be good... otherwise yeah I would be interested in the partition I've been thinking of doing a cold air setup similar to that.. at the moment I have a pod in my air box.. but its basically jammed in there lol. Something like this setup would probably be a bit better

cruizen eb: that like 10+ years of gunk/dirt build up in it, and the occasional degrease which wont do much and.... to your last comment: quite possibly, like i tried scrub and detergant and it did nothing,
inox is more a lube so dont really think thats the best stuff to be using, not really cheap either. lol cotton buds got into the crax quite well
