Is it true that there were no fog lamps for the EF falcons except on the fairlane models?
I want to buy some fog lamps for my car just to add a nice touch to the front bumper but I cant find any that will correctly fit its shape and size. :( I went to the Ford dealership but they couldnt really help me out. Does anybody have any suggestions where I could go or what to buy? Cheers!

pretty much have to go aftermarket... or the fairlane ones tucked behind.
the fairlane ones aint fog lights, but turning lamps so they won't do much for u apart from look pretty. if u wanna see how the fairlane ones look on a futura/gli then have a look at Stevo & Leah's EL Ghia

Ah, the joy of owning a Fairmont. One day I'll be able to buy some Fairlane ones and they will fit every so nicely and look fantastic. Sure they won't do much when it comes to lighting, but it will look good.

Get some Hella FF series ones and mount them behind the front bar in the brake ducts. They will look about as close to factory as you can get, and it is easy enough to do.

Couldnt you wire the fairlane turning lamps in your fairmont so they work as fog lamps, say, with the headlights?

i've got Hella FF-50's in my brake duct vents - lol they were working quite well, however they've decided to stop working, and i haven't had the inclination to figure out why yet! :P
thats about the best pic i've got on my work computer of them tucked into the vents:

my fairlane cornering lamps are wired up to my parkers, but the reason people are saying they dont do much is the fact they dont project front ways, they point kinda sideways as the name cornering lamp sugests.

The factory Fairlane ones actually do make a difference when wired up to the parkers. Working in conjunction with the headlights they light up the side of the road very well. I've had them this way on my Fairmont for years... they look good, work well and don't turn yellow!
