It would take a good (new) example and a good driver but you can come pretty close to that. Wheels magazine recorded a 15.5 from an EA S. Mind you, you can add about 2 seconds for the auto. ;)

I can't recall if the 4.0 EB manual was faster or not... extra power but extra weight. But yes you will get into the 14s with a good 2.5" exhaust, extractors and cam.

Sounds like a plan!
Everyone has their own opinion regarding cams, I'd recommend doing a forum search as it's been covered in great detail. |

Check the cam timing first. You only need one if the grinder didnt do his job properly or you want to run the cam at different specs.

the stage 3 i baught is brand new, not a regrind. i found that even tho its brand newy there was still a slight improvment to be made with the vernier

Yep, it does depend on the grinder. Ive had billets (brand new) and regrinds from wade and all have been 100% spot on. Ive got a vernier (cos everyone said you HAVE to have one to get the best out of the cam) but it has always been set to 0 deg.

EA's are a fair bit lighter than EF's. They are quick cars.
