The auxillary shaft on my XR6 distrubutor gear ahs stripped it gears can anyone give me a clue as to why and I have replaced the distrubutor. Please help ASAP

maybe it seized ? I'm not sure I understand what you are saying. The auxillary shaft as in the thing inside the timing case ?
