Well,
I learnt a lesson tonight... I left an open coke can in my car while i stopped around at Caspers for a coffee. Bad Idea(tm). When I eventually get back into the car i drive about 100 metres and take a swig from the can. Now with the darkness of the night I failed to notice the hundreds of demon ants that somehow infiltrated my car and proceeded to invade my tasty beverage. The next few seconds proceeded something like this: OUCH!, brakes, door, spit, ouch, rub mouth, ouch, bite bite bite, rub mouth, do the crazy ant dance. Now most people would move on with their life but i am not most people. I was actually hurt that my car would subject me to this without either some kind of notice or some kind of blocking action. Lesson learnt: Do Not trust your car, it never loves you as much as you love it:( Its only waiting for a chance to ally with the Evil Bitey Ants From Hell, to bring misery to you world. Ok kinda dramatic but it was really weird and it hurt lol. |

That was a scream, thanks for posting it and letting us laugh at you! :evil_laug I have drinks in our car, but I always try to use bottles cos cans get knocked over and you can't store them without them going flat. Ants hurt, they're nasty little f**kers.

sounds kind like the time i bought an orange juice from mcdonalds in the morning, and i put it in the centre console glovebox, but the fkn bottom of the cup just detached, emptying an entire cups worth of oj. i was already late for the train and I didn't know what to do and when i got back to the station carpark in the afternoon the car smelt like bloody oranges and there was ants everywhere. gotta make you think, they must be pretty desperate for a feed to start invading cars and coke cans

And that is one of the reasons why I don't allow food or drinks in the AU. I don't want to attract them into the car.
Arrgghhh I can't stand ants!! The other day I went to the backyard tap to fill a bucket and within seconds my feet were swarming with hundred's of the little buggers. All over the grass they were - and it's not like you can see them. Just the thought of them makes me twitch - yuk!

Yeah I had something similar happen with pizza that was left in a box near my bedroom door(which led out to the backyard). It mustn't have been any more than half hour I was gone and when I came back they were bloody everywhere. Unbelievable !!!

HAHAHAHAHAHA : :
Thats almost as good as the Jam Donuts thread. I wouldn't have gone back to the can though. Car temperature, flat coke, YUK. : If there must be drinks consumed in my car then they must be from a bottle. If I catch people eating in the car then they walk.
