Well done to Go Baby Go, another great cruise :eclipsee_ was had today. Meeting this morning at the Burvale we left about 9:30am with a total of 19 cars in convoy.
Got quite a few looks when going through the smaller towns and even when we stopped at Nar Nar Goon for a quick 'Pit Stop'. From here we went through some of lower Gippsland towns ending up at Mirboo Nth for lunch at the Commercial......... Congats to all who turned up as the stream of cars looked gr8 through the rear vision mirror and photos will be on the website tonight or tomorrow hopefully. :eclipsee_ :eclipsee_

As usual, another Go Baby Go success.. :
Great weather, great roads, great lunch, even better company. Unlike the E Series cruise, which left a little after us... There where no prangs in our camp. : Although the day was not event free..... :eclipsee_ Just ask my newly aquired 4 legged friend how quickly I can pull up the BF XR6T from 80kms on Springvale Rd in traffic. Playing chicken across 6 lanes of major roads is not good for your health or my Heart Rate. Here is a pic of the culprit... Apparently back in his owners yard and enjoying a can of PAL. I, on the other hand have just topped up the 6th Chardy.. Cheers :

Thanks guys... !!!!
We had quite a few newbies come along, and given it was the first run for the year, thought i would make it a fairly easy one...... Pub meals were good, and with the exception of a car sick little-un (just got the door of the BF GT open in time- no mess in the car....!) we had a sensational day....... Felt sorry for those two in the Vespa's going the other way.... maybe they'll swap the open face helmet for a full face one...... Pics are now on the website My plan is to have several more in the first few months of the year....... with a weekend run thrown in the mixture....... MRSXR8 is already working on another run, so stay tuned.......!!! Enjoy........................................... :

Thanx to Go Baby Go for a top cruise!! We went through some country side that i thought i'd never been through but soon learnt that i had when i was very little!! The past has come back to haunt!! HAHAHA!!!
The weather was spot on as were the fantastic views along the way. There were quite a few spectators along the way too. Also just a quick thank you to hubby for hanging back and making sure that everyone got to the final destination. Only prob is he was driving my car and now i have to fix my brakes AGAIN! : As G.B.G said stay tuned for the next one....

Yep a great day once again thanks GBG. Actually saw a car with your number plate GOBABY. Also saw a dead roo lucky hubby was driving after your last trip GBG.
I wondered why Pecker73 was waiting on the side of Spingvale road . I first thought he was checking his Melways instead I think he was checking his Kimbies !!!!!!! Nearly collected a couple of cyclists - why do they ride 2 abreast at 1 KPH on a windy road. Good to catch to with everyone after the Xmas break Lunch was great , best country pub meal I have had for ages. Hope to see a few at the Tooradin Tractor pull on Saturday afternoon - check the clubwebsite. Last edited by Seagull; 14-01-2007 at 10:52 PM. |

Sounds like a great day.
Unfortunately had to work so couldn't make it, but I'm looking forward to the next one where I'll have the new Digital Camera snapping away.
