2nd request for info on what exactly is a V8 Supercar course?
Somewhere they teach you how to eliminate the Holden/Ford in front of you and still win?

Yep thats what it is ..
What they dont tell you is that they have a drop out and fail rate of around 5% .. So that about tells you that everyone that passes the course gets a job.. My nephew races dirt go-karts and is in the Top 5 in 4 states in his class. allso on a sprint car team and been working at a mechanics after school , on school holidays and every friday for the last 2 years to get into this course. There is over 500 people that apply every year and they take 30. He is going up there early to try find a part time job to support himself. and Then I will be taking his stuff up there in 2 weeks. I am just trying to get him a bit of a foot in the door so to speak.. If you know somewhere please let me know / post here. Cheers Swanny

Hey i got a mate up there (and he's a forum member; nath2951 i think)and he's doing the same course. Except that he's now in second year and is a unit rep this year. So basically your nephew will become one of his minions if he's in this blokes unit.
Cheers

Who is your nephew that is in the course? as i'm currently a second year student within it.. and just to clear it up it isn't a "V8 Supercar Course", its Motorsports Training Australia, we cover many forms and classes of motorsports, a rather good course, but as was mentioned before rather hard to get into.
If your nephew wanted a job the local Safeways are always looking for nigh-fillers (though there bad hours), or there is even the RDC (Regional Distribution Centre) just down in Barnawartha - and they pay very nicely |
