Lets bring it up again, on Sunday I was working at the McLaren Vale Coles Express, someone in a Mitsubishi Triton pulled up and filled up with LPG, then when she hangs the pump up she hears a hissing noise cos her tank is leaking. So when she tells me I hit the emergency stop, call the CFS etc and get everything done right, didn't blow the place up! Turns out she blew a seal on the inlet of the tank which the CFS dealt with so for about 45 min we weren't trading and had the power off most of the time too. I also had to help push every other vehicle off the forecourt cos we weren't to start any vehicles near the Triton.
But just another day at the office eh?

Hahah thats awesome! Used to work at a servo back in the days, but never had something like that happen. Thats pretty interesting. Lucky the place didnt blow up, or lucky she didnt drive half way down the road and blow the car :gren:

yeah but she was pretty sensible she came in just about freaking out, then I just hit auto pilot, since I've been with servos since high school I've had the drill so many times it was just second nature. But tell ya what I was buzzing for the next few hours :nutsycuck

You guys that want PM'd sex stories - go and buy picture - I'm sure servos sell it, or just grow up!

I used to work at a servo (Shell Braddon). Had some pretty mundane and ordinary things happen on the graveyard shift (Like falling asleep at the console!!). The biggest excitement we got back then was when the new magazine issues came in. These days, though, you wouldn't catch me working graveyard shift in Braddon - not without a gun, anyway.

Exclamation

: I wasn't wanting sex stories, i cant speak for others but i can see why you may have thought that. But gee you must have worked at a boring servo cos I have got heaps of tales from my times there and I'm only 21!I've never had anything sexy happen at the servo, just some quite sexy chicks but they wouldn't give me second look. The only thing about sex is yeah the mags but there is some disturbing stories to do with them like people walking in buying a stick mag and a box of tissues but that isn't the kind of things people want to hear about. This was just about quirky stuff that happens at servos. get over it, If you don't enjoy this thread don't view it simple I'm not trying to provide material to get peoples rocks off! I think this has the potential to be quite a amusing anecdotal thread. :

So come on all you other servo workers give us some anecdotes!

back in the day when i used to work in a servo i had a car drive in that was on fire. What i mean by that is that it had an underbonnet fire, i remeber thinking what the **** is she thinking comming into the sero..........so i ran out with a fire extinguisher and put the fire out......i have to admit that bit was fun

i remember another time this guy was being dodgy so i locked the the doors so he couldnt get out...while i swas serving customers i saw him stash a couple of porno's under his shirt.. when he tried to exit the door wouldnt open for him and im like put the mags bag or i call the cops, so he denied it for a while then he just put them back and started to apologise
