Late model AU all the way.
A nice Fairmont Ghia is the go. Great cars. I am bias, my mother has one and its a great car. Dont take anyones word for the style and drive about them, take them for a spin, you like , you get! I think the AU will be the XT of the newer Falcons, although they were not the most popular, they will be in time, as the XT is now.

As a current owner of an AUII Futura wagon with factory dual fuel I can tell you that it's pretty much bullet proof and has never let us down. I fitted ours with an ERPS and haven't had any rust issues at all and it just keeps going and going and going. I'd buy another one in a heartbeat if I was in the market for a wagon. In fact, ours is for sale as I need a 4x4 for fishing so I'll sell you ours if you like.
Cheers Bushbasher
