Hi
Got most gear to do a antenna repair at a property in copper coast and the pole is 2 sections joined together and bolted to a treated pine post. One of the sections has surface rust but is pretty solid other than that just doesn’t look good, would you antenna people replace the pole or reuse that if it’s still solid Thanks |

Mate... We cannot SEE the condition of said rust/pole to comment unequivocally...
just put the thing up.... If it feels ok (which it usually does going up!) And Copper Coast wind don’t blow it down, then win,win eh?

Pay someone to come put up a brand new antenna for a couple hundred bucks.
Warranty and not having to get on a roof is a plus. |

Your CCA post is possibly one reason it’s corroded, but provided it’s not reached a “flaky, delaminating” stage of rust you ought be fine to refurbish. Fixings into the post should likely be replaced.
