in the hole? were mr spark lives? could be the possibility that your rocker cover gasket is leaking.

My god damned car is giving me the s again! Sometimes I go to start it, and it nearly fires, but then doesn't. If I try to start it again, it just cranks, but doesn't fire. I checked my leads with a multimeter, they are fine. The plugs are a 10,000kms old & look like the cars been running a little rich but I will replace them tomorrow. Air filter (stocky) could do with replacing as well. Once the car does start (usually with accelerator pushed to the floor) it obviously lets out a hell of a fuel smell.
Any ideas what can be causing this starting problem?? Could it be the plugs? Is it even possible for ECU cars to flood when they are cranked over just the once? Anything else I should look for that might be causing the problem?

i'd say that spark plug isn't firing right, if i have a plug like that on my moto, its because im running my mix to rich, not firing right or theres a problem with my piston ring.

EDIT: also wouldn't hurt to check/replace your air filter, its probably restricting airflow making you run rich.

Could also be your injectors leaking after the cars turned off, so if the plugs don't fix the problem and its got good spark i'd be looking at getting the injectors done.
